This series was shot across multiple locations in Lightning Ridge and Collarenabri, on the first pause of COVID lockdowns in June 2020. My father and I made the trip to visit Gamilaroi dendroglyphs (carved trees) removed from a Bora ground near the Barwon River, and since partially repatriated back On Country at nearby Collymongle Station.
Works from this series have been exhibited at Newcastle Art Space and The Lock-Up.
